Modems
Right now, all I have to connect to the internet is a 52k modem. Ten years ago I would have been happy with that. Even then though, I would have been upset with what mine is doing now. It isn't a year old and it goes through phases were it can't hear the dial tone. It's dropping me offline, usually when I'm in the middle of something. Of course that's when it decides it can't hear the dial tone. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!!!! (I mean that in the Charley Brown way not the pirate way.)
